Summary/Abstract: Digitization in all sectors of activity in Romania is carried out on the basis of a set of normative acts, which primarily concern the increase of access to information, the reduction of costs, the increase of digital content and the development of ICT infrastructures in the fields of education and culture. A first step in this direction was achieved through the National Strategy regarding the Digital Agenda 2014-2020, in which one of the four directions of action was ICT in education, culture and eInclusion. Currently, the Ministry of Education continues its efforts through the Strategy for the digitalization of education in Romania 2021-2027, SMART Edu. The topic of our case study refers to a bibliographic study regarding a musical topic of wide interest for Romanian musical culture, namely the artistic personality of the composer Ciprian Porumbescu, honored in 2023 through the Dimitrie Cantemir and Ciprian Porumbescu Cultural Year, promulgated by the President of Romania through Law no. 38 of January 12, 2023.
