Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this work is to introduce into scientific use information about the settlement of the Gumelnița culture, found on the map of the village of Ciobalaccia (Cantemir District) in the Register of Archaeological Monuments of the Republic of Moldova (manuscript version, 1993), as well as several fragments of pottery with their detailed description. In the archaeological collections of the National Museum of History of Moldova, 7 ceramic containers were rediscovered, the analysis of which allows us to assert the existence of a settlement belonging to the Gumelnița culture in the vicinity of the village of Ciobalaccia. Ceramic material allows us to attribute it to the first stage of colonization of the Prut-Dniester interfluves in the middle of the 5th millennium BC.
