New find of an anthropomorphic stele on the Lower Ingulets

Summary/Abstract: The publication provides a description of an anthropomorphic stele found in 2017 on a steppe plateau in the lower reaches of the Ingulets River, near a plowed mound. The place of the anthropomorphic steles in the burial ceremony of the Yamna culture tribes is also considered. As a result, it was concluded that each stele was installed on the mound in memory of a specific deceased person who enjoyed authority in his tribe.
