Summary/Abstract: Of the more than 2,700 known settlements belonging to the Noua-Sabatinovka-Coslogeni cultural complex, most were attributed based on the ceramic material found on the surface. Pottery was an occupation widely practiced in the communities of this cultural complex. The character of pottery making, most likely, had two sides: domestic occupation (vessels in the category of coarse ceramics) and craft occupation (fine pottery and food storage vessels). The typological analysis of pottery of the Noua-Sabatinovka-Coslogeni type is very difficult due to the diversity of shapes, the fragmented state of the finds, as well as the small number of publications containing the classification of the ceramic material found in the investigated settlements. In the literature there are typologies of ceramic vessels for each of the cultures of the complex separately, but there is no general typology. Therefore, we considered it necessary to develop a general typology of Noua-Sabatinovka-Coslogeni pottery. This allowed us to identify 12 pottery types with subtypes and variants representing shapes and ornaments found, with some exceptions, in each of the three cultural environments.
