Summary/Abstract: “Clothing” and grave finds – i.e. clothing accessories, jewelry and other items belonging to the grave inventory – are the most important sources for understanding identity in prehistoric archaeology. From a modern perspective, identity is a dynamic construct that is constantly shaped by a variety of cultural, economic, socio-political, demographic and environmental interactions. This paper attempts to reconstruct the “clothing” of the human community buried in the Late Iron Age necropolis of Borosesti.
