About social capital in a Moldovan rural community. A case study

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of a social anthropological study conducted in a rural Moldovan community. The investigated population was comprised of adult, mature, and elderly age groups. This study aimed to highlight the social capital present in the community. Methodologically, quantitative methods were employed. The results elucidate the specifics of social capital within the local community and the conclusions may serve as a foundation for further community development based on this form of capital.
