Summary/Abstract: The present analysis consists in the anthropological examination of human skeletal remains in a non-funerary context (inside the living space), discovered in three Eneolithic complexes (pits) of Hamangia type, in 2020, at Techirghiol Dealul Minerva – Paloda. In addition to the general characteristics resulting from the study of bone fragments (highlighting the minimum number of individuals, the presence of taphonomic markers, aspects related to the sex and age of individuals, lifestyle indicators, etc.), our research also includes a review of the main localities with Neolithic funerary discoveries attributed to the Hamangia culture from the Romanian sector of Dobruja. The scattered human bones in the contents of some pits, discovered at Techirghiol, are added to those previously mentioned in the archaeological-anthropological literature in the settlements of Ceamurlia de Jos, Cheia Vatra Satului and Cernavodă Columbia C.
