Summary/Abstract: The present study addresses, in a comparative analysis, an economic subject with political implications: the extraction, exploitation, and commercialization of a natural resource/wealth, sea salt. The author traces the evolution of regulatory acts concerning the valorization of saline sources in a regional context (the shores of Pontus Euxinus and, later, the Black Sea coast of southern Bessarabia and Dobruja) and a political context.
