Summary/Abstract: In Vitez, December 15 to 18, 2024, the first School of Social Work and Social Pedagogy titled Social Cohesion in Social Protection was held, aiming to enhance the competencies of professionals in social protection, promote interdisciplinary cooperation, and develop innovative approaches for working with vulnerable populations. The school sought to address key challenges in the field by providing opportunities for knowledge exchange, practical learning, and exploring new methods for improving practices in social protection. The event gathered experts, practitioners, and researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the broader region. It was organized by PONTEM - the National Association for Social Pedagogy in BiH, in partnership with the Association of Social Workers of Sarajevo Canton and with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
