Summary/Abstract: Over 80 tunnels are currently in use on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are mostly single-tube tunnels, with the fact that in recent years, along with tunnels that are longer than 500 m, a service tube has also been constructed. On Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina, the construction of the tunnel began in 2008, on the Sarajevo bypass. The construction of 57 tunnels was planned on Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina. With route changes, the number of tunnels has been reduced to the current 51. The length of the constructed tunnel tubes is about 26.5 km, currently about 22 km of tunnel tubes are under construction, and the total length of the tunnel tubes planned for construction is about 120 km. The paper presents some specifics of the construction of the Kobilja Glava tunnel, which is being built as part of the 1st transfer hall. Due to the poor characteristics of the rock mass - marl, during the excavation in the right tunnel tube in the Kobilja Glava tunnel, large settlements were measured both in the tunnel and on the ground surface. For the aforementioned reasons, the tunnel was redesigned, i.e. a smaller cross-section profile was adopted.
