Summary/Abstract: At the Kyiv Book Arsenal, a profound discussion titled “Life on the Edge: Kherson, Kharkiv, Izium, Chernihiv” brought together writers, museum directors, and cultural managers to explore the resilience of Ukrainian frontline cities. Participants shared their experiences of rebuilding cities after Russian occupation, emphasizing the importance of cultural projects and community support. Stories from Kharkiv highlighted the city’s cultural revival, while Izium’s narrative focused on the scars of occupation and the need to preserve memories. The conversation also touched on the psychological impact of war, the role of local myths, and the collective effort to document and understand these experiences.
