Summary/Abstract: At the archaeological site of Poduri-Dealul Ghindaru (Poduri commune, Bacău County) and Topolița-La nord-vest de sat (Grumăzești commune, Neamț County), following the research carried out, numerous Precucuteni-Cucuteni artefacts were discovered. For the two restored vessels, the aim was to restore the general shape as faithfully as possible, and for this a device was made to help us with a symmetrical construction in accordance with the original profile of them. In the case of tronconical vessel from Poduri, a device composed of a vertical metal axis and a layered wooden template to be rotated around this axis was chosen. At the base of the metal axis, a circular shape was cut out of a melamine wood panel on which to rotate the template at an equal distance from the respective axis. In the case of bitronconical vessel from Topolița, the precise positioning of large portions of the vessel required the adoption of a similar procedure. For this, we also had to create a device made of a vertical, threaded metal shaft, around which, at equal distances, we placed the large vessel fragment in the centre. The shaft was mounted in a wooden pan, a fact that allowed us to adjust this rod to the expected height of the vessel. A cardboard disc threaded into the metal shaft was placed in the upper part of the shaft, which constituted the solid support on which the bottom fragment of the vessel was placed. Currently both vessels are restored and preserved, so that they can be used for exhibitions and publications.
