Summary/Abstract: The research was focused on the study of relationships in adolescence. In the literature, adolescence is marked by changes in cognition, behavioral and emotional systems Interpersonal relationships with parents have a primary role in the development of the individual and the type of relationships he will later establish with other individuals throughout life. Friendship is the most important type of emotional attachment and interpersonal relationships in adolescence. The research results, regarding the type of relationship of adolescents, provide information on the differences in relationships according to gender. Adolescents of both sexes are characterized by the type of relationships that involve a predisposition to reject and self-doubt. The high level of trust in friends and positive communication denotes interpersonal relationships based on care and friendship.
