Summary/Abstract: This study delves into the interaction between space and time in Ismail Kadare's novel "A Girl in Exile: Requiem for Linda B", revealing the importance of these elements in shaping the narrative dynamics. The analysis first focuses on studying space, which emerges as a symbolic representation that interacts with the narrative structure. Space not only functions as an intermediary or substitute for reality but also serves as a projection that creates tension due to continuous repositioning. The study will focus on the space as a constraint of a scenic construction, within which human existence is imposed. This represents an infinite number of circles that threaten personal freedom and undermine the blocked human identity within them. Furthermore, this study examines the concept of time in the novel by focusing on its connection with history, its conversion through external analepsis, and its suspension through the aspect of adaptability. In the meantime, through systematic interruptions in the storytelling line, interruptions which address the myth of Orpheus, themes such as artistic creation under totalitarianism, individual freedom, and society under the totalitarian system are reflected upon.
