Possibilities and Fiascos of Connection Between Socially Disadvantaged Situations and Talent Management in Colleges for Advanced Studies in Hungary

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays there are more and more students with non-traditional background in higher education. The massification of the higher education opens gates also for socially disadvantaged students to participate in this level of education. In this study we focus on what happens with socially disadvantaged students in these years of university. This is an actual problem not just because of the changes in student groups’ composition but also because of changes in the quality of students’ life. Supporting, protecting student communities get more and more importance in students’ life. We study those colleges for advanced studies, which has old traditions in talent management and could have an important role in compensating disadvantages.
