Summary/Abstract: After the events of the middle of the 3rd century AD, associated with mass barbarian invasions, life in Tyras resumed. The barbarians, who had settled in the steppes of the North-Western Black Sea region, became the main military and political force there. In material culture, there is a high percentage of items characteristic of the Cherniakhiv-Sântana de Mureş culture. Few constructions and complexes, ceramic and glass imported goods, as well as coins are known from this period. Apparently, the barbarian population remained in Tyras for some time even after the Hunnic invasion in 375.
