Summary/Abstract: The features of news texts on the Internet have long been a research subject. They change in response to dynamic processes in society and language. The proposed study presents the contemporary appearance of the ending of Bulgarian news texts on the Internet – especially its syntactic, textual-linguistic and architectonic characteristics. It highlights some departures from the recommendations for shaping the ending of a media news item and in addition presents interesting trends.
