Will the Beauty save the world? Arts, admiration and contemplation their therapeutical and integrating influence on the illnesses of the visual culture

Summary/Abstract: Threats and diseases resulting out of the uncontrolled new media usage within the entire visual illness bear already a global pandemics character, they touch on broad segments of the world population and influence almost all dimensions of human personality in a deeply destructive way. In the first part of his contribution the author classifies this influence onto the realms of the Will, the Feelings and Cognition. He points to its menace to the ability of free decision-making, the loss of personal identity, historical memory and names out the basic medial dependencies. As one of the alternatives of the integral healing method he develops and puts into entirely new context the influence of the Art, the symbolic perception development and the Beauty, as the road to restore the communication and the sense for Truth and Goodness. It is a method of healing the negative consequences of the visual culture by the visual culture itself, yet personalized and deepened.
