Summary/Abstract: As part of the ASAP Training European project the drug prevention systems in the European Union are explored and analysed. All the twenty-eight national drug coordination offices of the EU member states were invited to participate in this research project. Self-administered questionnaires are used to collect data in order to create country profiles of the European systems. Similarities and essential differences, as well as strengths and weaknesses of the different types of systems will be identified. The ultimate aim is to give recommendations on how to improve and develop the systems in general, and the workforce and education field in particular, by taking into consideration the European drug prevention culture.
