Summary/Abstract: The Republic of Serbia as a legal successor of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the SCG state community, took place to fulfill the obligations arising from four bilateral agreements on the protection of national minorities. The agreements were signed with Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Macedonia. The Center for Regionalism, with the support of the Open Society Foundation, realized the project focused on the implementation of these international agreements. The research team is an inspection in the minutes of intergovernmental mixed commissions and through direct contact with representatives of national councils, state bodies and bodies dealing with national minorities. The first was the recording of open issues sent to the delegations of the signatory countries related to the position of their national minority in Serbia. The second goal was to determine the recommendations concerning the work of intergovernmental mixed commissions-committees in order to improve their efficiency. The results of the work of the delegation of intergovernmental mixed commissions-committees, which deal with the definition of open issues, are presented in this publication through the text of the report itself. It should be emphasized that the solution of individual open issues requires complex legislative processes and mechanisms and that political will sufficient sufficient is sufficient to address some sufficient.
