Summary/Abstract: The text examines the relationship between power - economic growth - employment - income inequality - poverty. Using data from the National Statistical Institute, vector autoregression and vector error correction model were applied. It is found that power does not affect economic growth, economic growth does not affect employment, and employment does not affect income inequality. Only the reduction of income inequality leads to the reduction of poverty.
