Summary/Abstract: This report examines the impact of labor migration on cultural changes in Japan and Germany through a comparative analysis of their immigration policies. While Germany embraces immigration as a necessary tool for economic growth and demographic stability, Japan adopts a restrictive approach to preserve its cultural homogeneity. The report analyzes the social, historical, and economic factors shaping these different strategies and explores how globalization and technological progress influence labor markets in both countries. It discusses how economic realities compel even the most conservative societies to adapt their immigration policies, seeking a balance between economic efficiency and social stability.
