The plurality of values present in contemporary society causes disturbing changes in the axiosphere of children and adolescents, requiring urgent care for their moral upbringing. In order to introduce the young generation to the world of values, the main responsibility lies, apart from parents, primarily on teachers, pedagogues, school psychologists and catechists, who provide professional educational interactions due to their professional roles. The article presents the theoretical assumptions of providing a moral education in school and confronting these with educational practices. Based on the results of their own surveys, the views, competences and dilemmas of school teachers and psychologists related to the moral upbringing of children are shown.

Fostering a value system in line with the universal values of children and adolescents constitutes a globally significant challenge for parents and teachers alike. Teachers play a crucial part in the education process. The teacher or tutor should not reduce his or her role to simply spreading knowledge on moral values and the standards of conduct stemming from them, but above all they should foster certain moral sensitivity in their students by acting as an example of moral conduct. Responsibility is one of the universal values which deserves close attention. The aim of this article is to direct attention to this axiological category, which represents one of many universal values. The article includes the author's own research findings, which illustrate the educational reality in terms of teachers' views on the subject of responsibility.

VAŽNA POGLAVLJA PASTORALNE POVIJESTI SLAVONIJE. OSVRT S POVIJESNO-PASTORALNOGA MOTRIŠTA NA DVIJE POVIJESNE KNJIGE

Duga je i sadržajem bogata crkvena povijest Slavonije i njoj bliskoga Podunavlja. Osobit aktivni čimbenik te povijesti, napose njezina pastoralnog sadržaja, bili su franjevci. Još se u 13. st. na tom prostoru širila franjevačka pokrajina Provincia Ungariae, a najveći broj njezinih samostana bio je na tlu hrvatske pokrajine Slavonije, jer su tada Hrvatska i Mađarska bile povezane zajedničkim vladarom u personalnu uniju. Članovi te provincije potkraj 13. i u 14. st. odlazili su u Bosnu gdje su, uključeni u Vikariju Bosnu, misijski djelovali među patarenima, tzv. bosanskim krstjanima. Posljedica toga djelovanja bilo je uključivanje više slavonskih samostana u Vikariju Bosnu koja je u 14. st. prigrlila opservantski pokret i njezino širenje u istočnu Hrvatsku, gdje je misijski djelovala među patarenima, wcklifovcima, husitima i pravoslavnim kršćanima i 1447. g. formirala samostalnu opservantsku Vikariju presv. Spasitelja.

VIŠESTOLJETNO DJELOVANJE FRANJEVACA U ĐAKOVU (1347.-1806.)

Tri su razdoblja djelovanja franjevaca u Đakovu: prvo, srednjev- jekovno, je najduže i traje od osnutka samostana 1347. do njegovog razorenja 1551. od strane kalvina; drugo je za vrijeme turske vladavine u Slavoniji sve do kraja Bečkog oslobodilačkog rata (1683.-1699.) kad franjevci pastoralno djeluju u Đakovu, premda ne borave ondje već u susjednim Đakovačkim Selcima; treće je razdoblje najkraće i obuhvaća vrijeme od ponovnog podizanja samostana 1710. u samom Đakovu pa do 1806. kad su ga franjevci ustupili mjesnom biskupu za sjemenište i bogoslovnu školu.

Entscheidung Für Christus und sein Wort (1938-1941): Analiza prvoga pentekostnog časopisa na njemačkom jeziku u Hrvatskoj

This paper analyzes the Pentecostal journal Entscheidung in German language, which was published in Vinkovci from 1938 to 1941. The first part of the article elaborates the historical context in which the texts of the Entscheidung were written, and than also the history of the German national minority in the area of the former republic of Yugoslavia. A concise review of the Pentecostal movement in Croatia before the Second World War is also given in the article. In the second part of the article the journal is theologically analyzed and compared with the journal Put spasenja (The Path of Salvation), which was published by the Pentecostals in Croatian language.

Educational Aspects in the Spiritual Autobiography of Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Despite of its importance and of the multiple possible outcomes, spiritualautobiography has not been enough valorised until now by the theological, philological, philosophical orhistorical research. Conscious on this fact, we will try there to bring into attention an important workof the genre, namely the spiritual autobiography of Mother Teresa of Calcutta (1910-2003), founderof the famous Congregation of Catholic sisters, "Missionaries of Charity." Moreover, we willinvestigate there a relevant aspect not only for the style and content of her work, but also for thecontemporary society, namely the education and its role. We will try to emphasize there the multipleforms of education that can be found and to see what is the relationship between education, revelationand act according to the Catholic religious. We will also try to see the similitudes and differencesbetween the investigated text and other coming from the same or from different confessionalbackgrounds and to create, where it will be possible, bridges between spiritualties.

The article shows the actions taken by the Russian Empress Yekaterina II. They were aimed at excluding Greek Catholic parishes of the Ukraine from the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Church. They had been the part of Commonwealth of Poland and became newly-connected to Russia. It demonstrates, on the base of archival materials, the resistance of the clergy and parishioners of the Greek Catholic Church to the violent return to the Orthodox Church.

Materiały Archiwum Diecezji Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeskiej w Koszalinie dotyczące kościelnych dziejów Piły

The first sources concerning Pila (Piła) come from consistor’s acts from the mid-15th century. Initially, it belonged to the parish in Ujscie (Ujście). It became independent in the beginning of the 17th century. Until 1920, it was part of the diocese and archdiocese of Poznan (Poznań). After the end of World War I, it was included in the archbishop’s delegacy, and then a free prelature in Pila (Piła). As a result of the World War II it became part of the Gorzow (Gorzów) Church. The last reorganization of the Church in Poland in 1992 brought it inclusion in the diocese Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg). Archives for the history of Pila (Piła) until the beginning of the 20th century are available but not used enough. And documents kept in the diocesan archives in Koszalin are known and not in whole to only a few researchers. This article is to make it easier searching for the history of the Church in Pila (Piła) in the 20th century.

Dzieje Zgromadzenia Sióstr Jezusa Miłosiernego w granicach dzisiejszej metropolii szczecińsko-kamieńskiej

After World War II, the areas of today’s Szczecin metropolitan archdiocese (since March 25, 1992) that includes the archdiocese of Szczecin and Kamień and the dioceses of Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg) and Zielona Góra-Gorzow (Gorzów) re-organized several times. As a result, the area decreased from 44 836 km² (1945) to 37 199 km². After the war, only 54 sisters from 5 congregations remained in 16 religious houses in this area. Nowadays, there are 807 nuns in the metropolitan archdiocese. One of the many religious congregations is the Congregation of the Merciful Jesus which shares his charisma there. The congregation has enjoyed the dignity of a religious institute of pontifical right since 13 May, 2008. There are about 150 sisters who serve on both continents of America, Africa and Europe (facilities in 14 countries). There are 25 houses in Poland.However, it is strongly connected with the areas of the metropolitan diocese of Szczecin and Kamień as there is the General House in Gorzów Wielkopolski, and the Mother House in Myślibórz, These two houses, together with the church, form the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. The Congregation has 12 religious houses in 10 places: 4 in the archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamien (Kamień), 6 in diocese of Zielona Góra-Gorzow (Gorzów) and 2 in diocese of Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg), which is one quarter of all houses. This gives good opportunities to realize its charisma – to spread the worship of God’s Mercy.

Religijne czy świeckie (polityczne) pochodzenie prawa w Mezopotamii (?)

Mesopotamia, whose origins date back to prehistoric times, is considered to be the oldest civilization. In spite of many serious gaps in the research material, the scientific research suggests that there are quite surprising solutions regarding the links between law and religion. The first legal regulations in the Sumerians are connected with the development of cities and leadership, clearly set in their religious beliefs. The institution of a king, appointed in this civilization quite early, is understood as an intermediary between the divine and the human world. This does not, however, equate religion with politics, as it is evidenced by the legal regulations in Mesopotamia. The king who is a law representative is not a representative of the deity. The established norms mean that he does not treat the subordinates as coming from god. It proves the separation between the Sumerian politics and religion. They are not yet aware of the consequences of this distinction, as it is evidenced by their inconsistency in terms of sanctions. By establishing the penalty for disobedience against the law he creates, the king refers to the deity, which in this way, without being a source of law, is treated as its protection.

HAJDÚBÖSZÖRMÉNY REFORMÁTUS ORGONÁI

The main churches in Hajdúböszörmény, both of remarkable size inherit two Angster-organs with 3 manuals. The older and bigger organ in the church of Bocskai Square was built 1902 with three manuals and 46 stops. All divisions are constructed with different windchests by using tubular pneumatic action: the great and pedal with cone chest, the second manual with Witzig-type pneumatic windchest and the third manual using the Angster-type pneumatic windchest. This is indeed a unique solution by Angster, later one he never used the Witzig-systhem again, for pneumatic windchests he used the Angster-type pneumatic construction. The organ in the Kálvin Square church was originally built 1899, with slider chests, tracker action and barker lever, pneumatic action for the stops. Angster rebuilt it in 1914, the organ received new Angster-type pneumatic windchests and a new console with roll-player mechanism with three manuals and 38 stops. After several modifications, the organ was reconstructed to its original state in 2014–2016 as the first pneumatic-reconstruction project in Hungary. The Bocskai Square organ is after improper reparations still unplayable, the congregation launched benefit concerts by professionals in November 2018 to gain bigger public attention to this organ-treasure.

LEZÁRÓDÁS ÉS/VAGY FOLYTATÁS. CSOMASZ TÓTH KÁLMÁN MUNKÁSSÁGÁNAK NÉHÁNY KÉRDÉSE ÉS AZ INTERNET

The Protestant congregations have been singing in the churches from the beginnings but not as the official part of the service. The singing style changed in the 20th century but only in the case of Latin liturgical rites. Singing and the manner of Scripture reading were not similar in the Middle Ages to the Biblical times either. During the centuries, new forms and manners of content expression were adopted by the church. The content and the form were not inseparable. The free-style and set forms of the service, reading and singing for the ministers and the congregation significantly changed. They did not completely break away from the roots, however during the centuries there were several earlier elements that were left aside.In the mid-20th century, Kálmán Csomasz Tóth (1902–1988) wished to stop the process of oblivion by inventorying the Hungarian Protestant airs dating back to the 16th century. And thus, he edited the first Hungarian handbook of this kind. In 2017, another important work by Kálmán Csomasz Tóth was published, namely the air collection known by the profession as RMDT I. It both preserves and creates values, and for this reason, it is our responsibility to preserve it and pass it on by means of today’s modern preservation techniques, namely the Internet.In his study, the author discusses the works that our generation needs to preserve even more so because it sensitively touches upon the current and future use of the Reformed book of chant.
