ANALYTICAL LEVEL OF VELSPACE

The article provides a general description of one part of the structure of Virtual eLearning space - VeLSpace, which is called Analytical level. The main components of the Analytical level and communication with other system components are described as well. All components are structured in three different levels of abstraction: analytical, semantic and sensory. The paper also presents some concepts related to the use of intelligent agents based on BDI architecture. Semantic level refers to the representation of knowledge in the system that agents use for the outside world and their inner beliefs. The knowledge is presented through ontologies.

This publication presents an idea of creating a model for non-formal education which can be implemented in the Virtual Educational Space. The model is based on andragogic approach and acquisition of competences. Intelligent agents will take care of training and educational and career guidance of the learners. A possible application of the model is a course in cognitive robotics.

In this work ISAR (Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar) multifunctional Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) system and image reconstruction concept based radar parameters measurement is considered. Main geometric and kinematic characteristics are derived. LFM (Liner Frequency Modulated) emitted waveforms is used while modeling reflected ISAR returns Signal formation and image reconstruction are analytically described and interpreted as direct and inverse projection operation while image reconstruction is interpreted as totally motion compensation procedure. High precision image reconstruction algorithm based on spatial correlation is derived

DOPRINOS DIGITALIZACIJE ISTRAŽIVANJU LOKALNE HISTORIJE (PRIMJER ZENICE)

The work describes the importance of the process of digitization of archival documents and older historic literature, for the research of local history on the example of Zenica. In the first part of the work, the author brings his own experience which he collected by establishing successful cooperation with world renown archival institutions, National Archive in Dubrovnik, Vatican Secret Archives and Basbakanlik Ottoman Archive in Istanbul. The author gives examples which show us that different institutions have different systems of work with digitized archival documents. In the second part of the work, the author presents concrete scientific insights in the field of local history research which are the product of cooperation with archival institutions, where we can see all the advantages of the process of digitization for the modern scientific research. At the end of the work, the author gives his opinion about how is the process of digitization going to lead to even more simple process of scientific research in the field of history, while at the same time warns that the researcher is going to have to expand his own knowledge accordingly in this process
