Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of field research conducted by the author of the article, which ended up in the identification of three Paleolithic sites, one of them being multilayered. The settlements Teşcureni II and Teşcureni III, according to the typology of the identified materials can be attributed to the Upper Paleolithic, Late Gravettian. In the Teşcureni I settlement, in addition to the tools specific to the Gravettian, fragments of pottery belonging to Roman amphorae and vessels characteristic of the Sântana de Mureş-Černeahov culture were also identified. In addition, a copper wire was identified on the road separating the site, which can, most likely, be assigned to the Eneolithic. The importance of these sites is also outlined by the fact that, so far, on the territory of Ungheni district, they are the only ones that can be certainly included in the Late Upper Paleolithic.
