Summary/Abstract: This study presents the evolution of Romanian political parties in Bukovina at the beginning of the 20th century. The transformations taking place in the Austro￾Hungarian Empire influenced the political life of Bukovina. Once involved in politics, representatives of the bourgeoisie and intellectuals sought to gain significant positions in the political leadership. Romanian political parties went through various stages, from unity within a single party to division into different factions. At the beginning of World War I, Romanians were politically divided into democrats, conservatives, and nationalists.
