Na jeseň minulého roka sa v Bratislave uskutočnil svetový kongres medzinárodnej spoločnosti pre rómske štúdiá Gypsy Lore Society. Táto medzinárodná spoločnosť vznikla vo Veľkej Británii v roku 1988 a združuje odborníkov na rómske štúdiá z celého sveta. Konferencia bola rozčlenená do niekoľkých tematických panelov, ktoré sa venovali Rómom z pohľadu rôznych vedeckých disciplín. V jednotlivých paneloch sa prispievatelia venovali historickým pohľadom a perspektívam, oblasti vzdelávania, sociálnym problémom, štátnej politike v prístupe k Rómom i témam z oblasti kultúry a náboženstva.

The 15th Bohemicum Dresdense, titled "Kafka an der Grenze," was held at the Zentralbibliothek in Dresden on October 25, 2024, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death. The colloquium titled "Kafka and World Literature," held in Prague on December 8, 2023, explored the global impact of Franz Kafka's works. Organized by the journal Svět literatury, the Institute for Czech Literature and Comparative Studies at Charles University, and the Institute for Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna, the event examined Kafka's influence across various literary contexts, including Japanese, Russian, Hungarian, and Lithuanian literature, as well as intermedial transformations of his works. The conference "Czechoslovak Justice as a Pillar of the Regime 1948–1989," held on October 14 at the Senate of the Czech Republic, highlighted the role of the judiciary in supporting the communist regime. През декември 2023 г. в чл. 150, ал. 2 от Конституцията (КРБ) бе уредена въз- можност всеки съд да сезира Конституционния съд (КС). За по-малко от 6 месеца (към 15 юни 2024 г.) в Конституционния съд (КС) постъпиха общо 8 искания от съдилища, различни от ВКС/ВАС, повечето от които бяха отклонени1, основно поради неспазване на изискването на чл. 18, ал. 3 от Пра- вилника за организация на дейността на КС (ПОДКС)2: искането да съдържа „аргу- ментирана преценка на приложимото право, включително относно последиците от действието на правото на Европейския съюз, когато оспорената разпоредба или акт е в приложното му поле”. Поради това имат много голяма практическа важност въпросите какво е длъ- жен да направи съдът ipso jure по всяко дело, преди, а и за да може, да сезира КС, и в частност в какво се изразяват изискванията за аргументирана преценка на приложимото право (Първа част) и за аргументирана преценка относно после- диците от действието на правото на ЕС (Втора и Трета част).

This symposium took place within the context of "The Homage Year of the Pastoral Activity of the Romanians from outside of Romania'' and was organized by the Diocese of Maramure§ and Satmar, in co-operation with other institutions partners within the project.

On the 6th of September 2021, the Conference "History and Art in Romania. Spiritual Perspectives" took place in "Teoctist the Patriarch" Aula Magna of the Palace of the Patriarchate. This event was organized by the National Committee of Romania for the UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), in partnership with the Romanian Patriarchate and "Mihai Eminescu" Cultural Centre in Bucharest, and it is a part of the series of manifestations dedicated to the 65 years that have elapsed since Romania became a member of the UNESCO. At the meeting was also presented His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel who pronounced the speech on "History and Art: Romanian Values in the Universal Heritage of Humanity", and offered decorations.

Between the 1st and 2nd of November 2021, the Faculty of Theology of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, organized the international Symposium of Theology, History, Musicology and Art around "Pastoral Activity and Spiritually in the Romanian Diaspora. Taking care of those fallen asleep in the Lord in the cult and practice of the Orthodox Church". The edition of this year took place in a hybrid size, physically and online, respecting the regulations in force.

Science and faith" took place in the Chapel of the National Cathedral, with the blessing of His Beatitude Father Daniel, Patriarch of Romania. His Grace Father Varlaam Ploiesteanul, patriarchal Vicar-Bishop, in his capacity as representative of the Head of our Church, Romanian doctors and university professors, volunteers and faithful of the Chapel of the National Cathedral also participated in this special event.
