Summary/Abstract: The set of information needed to develop individual learning pathways is limited by the human brain. The development of artificial intelligence raises the question of whether this task could not be outsourced. This question is also justified because, as a result of the potential of educational data mining, companies with large data sets are already gaining access to more and more student data. On the one hand, this can help differentiated education and, on the other hand, there is a danger that, along with offering individual learning paths, these firms will not only define learning algorithms and contents, but also take control of individual will and choice.
